Calif. Christian College Resumes Classes After Shooting Nightmare

Oikos University, the Christian college in Oakland, Calif., that suffered one of the state's deadliest school shootings on April 2, has resumed classes three weeks after the tragedy.

Pastors to New Believers: You'll Have Doubts About Your Conversion, Word of God

Having doubts about Christianity even after having just made a profession of faith in Jesus is inevitable for new believers, say pastors, including Harvest Ministries founder Greg Laurie.

The non-partisan, conservative leaning American Legislative Exchange Council has excelled at producing model legislation that several states have passed into law over the last three years. But the group's success seems to have given liberals and left-leaning groups a large target, with recently some of ALEC's largest and wealthiest corporate supporters cutting ties.

The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office released an analysis of the economic impact of President Barack Obama's 2013 budget proposal Friday. The report estimated that Obama's proposals would give the economy an initial boost, but that boost would come at the cost of decline in later years due to increased deficit spending.

The number of people using Food Stamps has jumped 70 percent in the last four years, the Congressional Budget Office reported. In 2011 alone, 45 million people received government assistance.

New York City Church Grows Food on Rooftop

As growing season draws near for farmers, one New York City church oversees a farm in one of the least likely places: its rooftop.

As the lead pastor of a megachurch in the Bible Belt, Matt Chandler has come across many people who grew up believing they should pursue a type of religious morality over Jesus and his Gospel because that is what they were taught in their churches. On Saturday, Chandler discussed his new book, The Explicit Gospel, during a live webcast from CrossPointe Church in Orlando, Fla., and explained why morality isn't enough.

Photos that were reportedly taken with the camera on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 were leaked onto a Picasa account earlier today.

Verizon dropped the price of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus down to $199 after Sprint released its own model of the smartphone earlier today that retails at that same price.

Sprint launched the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and LG Viper 4G smartphones today.

Microsoft is reportedly working on integrating Skype into its Xbox video gaming console, according to a recent job posting released by the company.
